The Ironworks Diesels Stuck in the Mud

Hank Goes Fishing is the sixth episode of the second season.

Plot

One night, Hank was to deliver the Flying Kipper since Henry was having his tubes cleaned out. Duck was shunting his fish vans. He warned Hank about the time when he crashed into Henry's train, and when Thomas got fish in his boiler. Hank wasn't sure how fish could end up in his boiler when the fish are locked up in his vans.

However, Hank's driver forgot to fill Hank up with water. Just as Hank was on the viaduct he ran out of water. The guard asked what was wrong. Hank's driver told him. The guard suggested to get some water from beneath the bridge. The driver thought it was a good idea. He found a bucket and some rope beside the line, dropped the bucket down to the water, and then pulled it back up once the bucket was filled.

Unfortunately, the driver couldn't have known that every time he went to get water from the river in the bucket, there were fish in the bucket too. Once Hank got started again, he felt a pain in his boiler. At Tidmouth, when the driver went to check the tanks, he saw fish. The driver went back for help. Soon, Murdoch came to push Hank to the Steamworks. At the Steamworks, the workmen were surprised at how much fish there was. Victor made Kevin take the fish out, much to the annoyance of him.

When Murdoch got back to Knapford Sheds, Arthur teased Murdoch for being smelly. Murdoch snorted and said that Arthur smells worse than anyone on Sodor. Arthur looked hurt. Once Hank got back, he was very self-concious. Hank takes care around fish now, and hopes to never "go fishing" again.
