Plot[]

Harold the Helicopter roams the sky on the Island of Sodor, looking for engines, people or vechiles in trouble.

He makes sure everyone is safe.

One day, Alaric was taking his coach up the Mountain.

"Careful," his coach called.

"Am doing my best. Am doing my best," he chuffed.

Eric puffed into the station below.

"Go it, Alaric!" he called.

Recently, both engines had returned from an overhaul and were working to prove their worth.

There were also some Mountain climbers.

"We're gonna have some adventure today, boys!" the leader called.

"Have fun!" called Eric.

They began climbing the mountain, but mountain climbing can be dangerous.

Eric set off with his coach now full.

"Steady, Eric," called his coach.

"Don't worry, my dear. I've got this."

Ernest arrived in time to see everything.

One of the mountain climbers was holding onto the ledge, when suddenly part of it collasped!

The climber was now hanging dangerously from the ledge with high winds threating to spoil his day!

"Oh no! Call for Harold!" whistled Ernest.

The Stationmaster called for Harold!

Harold was luckily nearby at Peel Godred when he got the call.

"We're on our way!" said Harold's pilot.

Harold knew he had to quick and careful, winds aren't great for a helicopter.

"Hang on!" called the other mountain climbers.

"Yes, Harold is here!" cheered Ernest.

"He still has to rescue him," said his Driver.

"Please remain calm," called Harold.

He dropped a rope from his cab and two men climbed down.

Suddenly, the part of the ledge began to snap.

"Hurry!" called Harold.

Ernest watched in amazement!

The two men catched the mountain climber and took him into his cab.

Alaric was at the next station.

Eric had taken his train, so Alaric could stay and make sure the mountain climber was alright.

"Is he alright?" asked Alaric.

"My pilot's a medic so he will examine him," replied Harold.

His pilot soon saw that the climber was alright and the other mountain climbers joined him.

"He's alright," said Harold's pilot.

"Yes, thanks to Harold," said the leader.

"Three cheers for Harold the Helicopter!" whistled Alaric.

"Hip! Hip! Hooray! Hip! Hip! Hooray! Hip! Hip! Hooray!"

Then, Harold flew home, very pleased with himself.

When he arrived, he saw Percy and Bertie had heard of the other story already.

"Well, well, well. So much for a birdbrain, that was some good rescue work," teased Percy.

"You were great. You are the best!" said Bertie.

"Thanks," said Harold, very pleased.

Harold thinks of no other place to be than on the Island of Sodor.
