|Tornado the Lost Engine||A Happy Day for Alfie|
One morning, Henry wakes up with a bad case of boiler ache. The other engines are upset at this, because of course, this means more work for them and more "shunting" for the tender engines (specifically James and Gordon).
Later that night, after a hard day's work, Percy goes back to sheds and comforts Henry about his boiler ache and tells him not listen to what the other engines say about him because he can't help it. Henry gratefully thanks Percy for his support.
However, the next morning, to everyone's chagrin, Henry's boiler ache has not improved and now Percy has come down with boiler ache as well. Again the workload has increased and the engines grow more grouchy then ever.
Evening comes, and Thomas returns to the sheds to find that now Edward has come down with boiler ache. Thomas, confused by all this, decided to find out where the mysterious illness is coming from.
Thomas is talking to Toby by the water tower about the illness, much to Toby's confusion as well. Shortly after talking to Toby, Toby has returned to the sheds with boiler ache. Suddenly, it dawns on Thomas where the case of boiler ache is coming from.
Later that evening, Thomas returns to the sheds with the news that the reason the other engines have been getting boiler ache because the a rusty water pipe had broken in the water tower, causing the water to be filled with filth. The other engines are grateful that the case had been solved.
Nowadays, the water tower is full of clean water to keep the engines running, and all of the engines are always cheerful that boiler ache is not as common.
